About Us

Phillips Elementary School is named after Mr. James R. Phillips.

Mr. Phillips served as Superintendent of Kaufman ISD for 26 years (1954-1980). His wife Mrs. Reba Phillips also taught at the elementary level.

Phillips Elementary School is a grade level campus, and is home to First through Fifth Graders of Kaufman ISD.
